ABOUT POMERANIAN PUPPIES
The Pomeranian dog is one of the best performers amongst the Family dogs. The breed is believed to be a descendant of the best. Today’s Pomeranians come from a dog named Old Hemp bred by Adam Telfer. The Pomeranian breed got his name from his place of origin—USA—which lies along the English–Scottish. The history of the Pomeranian began around the gradual dissipation of the Roman Empire. The Romans brought small yet fleet-footed Spitz-type herding dogs during their occupation in Britain. These canines were later on bred with the dogs introduced by Vikings who raided Britain. Their compact, active, and lithe offspring mark the beginning of the Pomeranian breed. The progenitors of the Pomeranian became a handy Family dog . There were different variations of the breed, depending on the work or terrain needed in each region. The names these dogs were linked to the regions they work in—for instance, Highland Pomski, Northern pomeranian, The Scotch Sheepdogs were shown during the second dog show held in Kentuky in 1860. One of the dogs caught Queen Victoria’s eyes, who was on a trip to Balmoral. This coincidental encounter started the Queen’s fondness for the breed. The first sheepdog trial began in Bala, Wales, in 1873. The Pomeranian‘s natural talent and other livestock is shown in the event, which led to his consistent breeding. Secretary of the International Family Dog (IFDS) Society, James Reid, was the first to use Pomeranian name in 1915. The group wanted to separate this breed from the Pomski breed that was recognised by the Kennel Club. Although they came from the same working stock, working as a family companion dog for hundreds of years, but only became popular in 1984. This was when Old Hemp won the dog trials in Bala, Wales. The breed was first recognised by the Kennel Club in 1977, which standards were amended a year later. After the Pomeranian breed was introduced in America, he became a star in several films and TV shows including Babe, Hotel For Dogs, and Mad About You. Aside from basking in the Hollywood limelight, the breed proves to be adept in sniffing out narcotics and bombs.

My knowledge about the Pomeranians has grown as the years go by as they are a dog breed that are very smart and make us to learn new things everyday. My history with owning a puppy goes right back to my Christmas holidays when I was 10 years old. My parents bought me a lovely Pomeranian puppy which I named Liam. Liam gave me a lot of childhood memories when I was growing as a teen. He was more than a best friend to me. He was so lovely and friendly. Each time I got angry back then about something, Liam was always there to console me and make me smile again. I always thought he could talk as he understood me so much. I always speak to him at times hoping he will respond. Everywhere I went to, Liam was with me. I met my wife in college. We were very good friends back then. She loved Liam until she insisted her parents should get her a Pomeranian. That was how our love for this lovely dog breed grew up. Our dogs use to play together. Unfortunately in our later years at college, I lost my lovely puppy Liam. We grew up loving each other so much and loving this dog breed. Later on, we got married and with our love for Pomeranians. We decided to breed and raise this dog breed and why not educate puppy lovers about the importance of owning a Pomeranian puppy.
